There’s an elephant in the room, so let’s get that out of the way (not literally, despite my proximity to the National Zoo). I have not posted a blog in months. Why? Well, in 2016 I was fortunate enough to grow my business, and spent my time doing quite a bit of writing for clients rather than writing for myself. At the end of the year, I had a baby and took five-weeks of maternity leave. But enough excuses.

I advise clients to host a blog only if they can maintain it, as a way to help achieve visibility among customers and prospects, boost SEO rankings, etc. While on maternity leave, I made a commitment to myself to do the same upon my return.

My background lies in PR and corporate communications, and I’m in a continual state of learning and sharing what I learn about this ever-evolving field. I could develop an editorial calendar for my blog based on the topics that interest me. But I’d much prefer to know — what information will be most valuable to you?
